Central Laboratory

Our Central Laboratory processes various clinical specimens from over 200 patients a day. We perform testing for Basic Chemistry, Immunoassays, Coagulation, Hematology, and Urinalysis. Our laboratory utilizes state-of-the art technology and is accredited by CLIA and Massachusetts Department of Health. The Lab staff consists of 4 Lab Technicians, 1 Lab Assistant and a courier. The courier picks up specimens at various NBMA sites on a rotating schedule and delivers them to the Lab. Most specimens are processed the same day and results are then sent to the Providers.
