In May of 2011 The Cat Scan Department was awarded a 3 year accreditation with the American College of Radiology (ACR).

Our 16 slice Cat Scan machine is ACR Accredited. We are able to perform routine and angiography Cat Scans.

Our technologists are certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (AART), and have advanced certifications in Cat Scan. See a listing of Cat Scans performed

All Cat Scan exams are interpreted by Shields Health Care.

Preparation for Cat Scans varies depending on the type of CT exam you will be having. Oral and I.V. contrast can be used. See special instructions if you are a diabetic. You will receive instructions for preparation from your referring provider and CT department.
